This class meets Monday – Friday, 9:30 – 11:30 am, May 27th through July 3rd.

Learners can attend class virtually via Zoom or in-person at the Goodwill Cedar Rapids Career & Support Services Office, located 1441 Blairs Ferry RD NE.

There are independent study options available for students who can’t attend class during the scheduled time.

The Retail Industry Fundamentals course utilizes curriculum from the National Retail Federation and provides an introduction to working in various retail roles, foundations of customer service and sales, and math skills used on the job.

The course may be a good fit for those with little or no work experience who are interested in building their retail skills and knowledge and prepare for an entry position in retail.

Students may choose to complete a 25-hour paid internship with a partner business to gain experience.
